Submission Standards

Failure Modes accepts student-authored governance work products that meet the following standards:

Clear title and concise abstract that summarize the failure mode.
Sources for factual claims (citations or attachments).
Actionable procedural fixes rather than partisan advocacy.
No personally identifying information about private individuals.
PDFs must be legible, complete, and authored by the submitter.
Use institutional tone: analytical, specific, and neutral.
No moral condemnation language, political endorsements, or calls to action.
Submissions are not publications; editorial review applies scarcity and selectivity.

Submissions that do not meet these standards may be returned for edits or rejected.
